Northwest Washington is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful places in the world.

Those of us who live here enjoy the natural beauty of the snow-capped mountains, gorgeous rapid-filled rivers, clear blue lakes, salt-water inlets and bays.   We  are proud of our "fir lined" roads, winding through the countryside with its berry farms, dairy farms, lush fields of crops. We have colorful harbors with a wide range of boats and ships.

In the winter there's cross-country skiing, snow boarding, and snow skiing on the world-record slopes of Mt Baker; in the summer there's hiking, camping, fishing; in  the spring and fall there are a multitude of festivals and gatherings. 

We also enjoy the pleasures of all types of live music including rock, jazz, and the sophistication of concerts and shows locally, in addition to the activities in the nearby world-class cities of Vancouver, BC, and Seattle.
